It can B due 2 scoli: but only in severe cases. This is because of reduced lung capacity from the curve. It does need looking into as scoliosis does not have symptoms, unless it is so severe that it is decompensating & collapsing. ...Read more

NO Inhaler: If U are talking about albuterol, it tends to increase anxiety. The only way to help reflux is to stop eating & drinking an hour or more before lying down. If doesnt work, need to elevate head of bed, gravity hepls. There are acid reducers, but full stomach leads to reflux. Chronic reflux causes lung disease. Even if no acid, enzymes in stomach hurt lungs. See MD to help with reflux. ...Read more

No you can't: Have you had a graduated treadmill exercise test with pulse oximetry to quantitate your breathlessness and palpitations? If your lab can do it, a cardio-metabolic stress test would be even better, measuring your CO2 with exercise. How about: echocardiogram, chest x-ray, CBC, BNP, BMP, ddimer and TSH too? ...Read more

Dyspnea = Dyspnea: Dyspnea is dyspnea. In other words, dyspnea is just medicalese for shortness of breath. What's more important is to determine the cause of dyspnea. But the symptoms will be similar, eg shortness of breath. So you need to go see your family doc for proper evaluation. With that said, dyspnea related to your heart might be aggravated by activity whereas asthma might cause wheezing just stiing still. ...Read more
