Possibly: Although, the incidence of osteoarthritis (wear and tear arthritis) is negligible in people of your age, there are types of arthritis such as rheumatoid (less likely if your pain in the knee has been unchanged for 3 years and there is no swelling, redness/heat or other joint involvement). Depends: Depends on where the hip pain is located. If in the groin, it is likely the hip joint and that would require rheumatologist or orthopedicevaluation. If low on the side of the pelvis, it could be bursitis. Back pain is usually not related to arthritis. Knee pain is often related to instability, sometimes to arthritis.
