More info needed: How late in the evening do you drink fluid? You may want to limit your intake for several hours before bed. Also, do you have frequency or urgency during the day? Do you have loss of urine at other times? You may need to see your doc for further evaluation and treatment. ...Read more

UTI in men: Yes, they happen, but are much more rare because of the length of the male urethra compared to females. Symptoms include urinary frequency and urgency (gotta go all the time, nothing comes out), bladder spasm, pelvic pain. More common in men are infections like STDs (chlamydia/gonorrhea) or epididymitis, an infection in the testicle. Go get this checked. Any of the above need to be treated. ...Read more

Urinalysis +ve w UTI: How do U know U had UTI? Urinalysis is required to make diagnosis. Unusual for UTI to clear up in 24 hours unless U take antibiotics. Pain & urinary frequency are symptoms associated with UTI, but are not diagnostic, thus you may not have had UTI in first place. Fever may have been related to something else. ...Read more
