Sidways Shaking In Foot
Headaches, front of head, all day. Random tingling in left hand and foot. Single twitches in left shoulder, hand, leg, and foot. What is going on?
Probably ok: Based on your age, there's probably nothing to worry about. However, i would see your doctor and ask to be referred to a neurologist for an exam. He will probably order an MRI of the brain to double check for any problems (if your exam is entirely normal, he may not order any testing, but just monitor your symptoms). ...Read more
My thumb shakes when scrolling on cell, numbness in hands sleeping/awake, numbness tinglin in both hands in feet ...What is it?
Varies: There are a number of possibilities, I would not hesitate to be seen for a specific diagnosis. Numbness is a neurological symptom and a nerve conduction test can usually sort it out as well. The two most common causes are either a pinched nerve somewhere, with carpal tunnel syndrome being the most common that involves the thumb; or a neurological condition such as a neuropathy for example. ...Read more
Slipped disc? Buzzing in big toe, outside foot, buzzing on off in calf with quick stabbing pains all over leg, now started to happen in other foot?
Nerve compression: History of lower back injury, pain? compressed nerves in lower back at levels L4,5, S1,2 can create this type of symptoms. The disks serve as spacers/cushions between vertebrae and if they "slip" or herniate nerves can be compressed or pinched. This leads to symptoms of pain, numbness, tingling, sharp, shooting, burning. Now that both feet are involved I would rec f/u for low back eval. ...Read more

Numbness in some toes after wearing heels. Walked barefoot in cold. Has lasted a week. Hurts to curl toes. No swelling/discoloration. What is wrong?
Numbness: You didn't say where the numbness is. If it is at toes 3 and 4 it could be a neuroma. The walking barefoot in the cold , while not very smart , may not be a complicating factor unless you have frostbite. If that were the case you would have some puffiness in the affected area due to the freezing of the tissues and resultant cell lysis. See your podiatrist for help. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Numbness: Most concerning is the pain in the right arm. If this is something new it needs evaluation by a physician. The diffuse numbness and tingling could be from any number of causes. An infectious or inflammatory workup may also be indicated. Again, the pain and lack of movement in the right arm needs more immediate attention. ...Read more

Lateral plantar: The lateral plantar nerve is a branch of the tibial nerve. It can be compressed at several points along its course from the tarsal tunnel down to the base of the metatarsal phalangeal joint and beyond. Sometimes you can localize the problem by pressing on the bottom of the foot along the nerves course. If the problem cannot be localized ask the neurologist to do a nerve conduction study. ...Read more
