Slow down: That sounds like a muscle spasm of your abdominal muscles, which got overworked when you started running. Take it a little slower. When you get the "stitch", slow down or stop walking, take slow deep breaths until it passes. Try stretching your arms overhead and count to 10 to stretch out those muscles. Stitch side: hello~ you are unfit and you should get back out there and start running again but slower and guarding the side and you'll probably find that when you warm up it will go away.
