How is safety measd?: I'm not sure exactly how to answer ur question. According to the package insert (http://labeling.pfizer.com/ShowLabeling.aspx?id=511) less than 1% of pts stopped taking Z-pack in trials b/c of adverse events, but adverse events ranging from loose stools (6%) to nausea/vomiting, rash, abd pain, etc. was seen (2%).
