Is tongkat ali a good supplement to boost testosterone?

Supplements: The body generally does not need supplements to produce hormones. My male fiance has had no sexual desire since starting on 10mg of Lexapro and 150mg of wellbutrin (bupropion). Would horny goat weed or tongkat ali help at all?

Reduced sexual desir: I agree with dr. Wartenburg on the need to be careful with herbs here in the us, and speaking with your husband's physician before adding any of these. There is also not sufficient research data to assure that either of these herbs will work for the intended purpose. ...Read more

Can I take tongkat ali together with warfarin? I had undergone mitral valve replacement surgery.

IN GENERAL: I would NOT recommend that you take ANY HERBAL REMEDIES with WARFARIN....MANY MANY MANY examples of inter-action of herbal remedies (for example GREEN TEA!!!) with Warfarin or Coumadin (warfarin) exist!

No sense in "taking chances"!
