Maybe a gout attack: I assume you were taking the tablet because you had gout before? If so, stopping it will risk getting recurring attack (s) which tends to worsen with each subsequent episode and may/likely cause joint damage/gouty arthropathy (arthritis due to gout). So, check with doc before stopping it. If you have side effect from it, there maybe other options. Consult doc. Good luck. ...Read more
It will show up fast: If you have any withdrawal symptoms. If the use was successful & necessary it's unlikely you will. Withdrawal can be difficult and similar to what Cocaine addicts go through. A major issue is that depression can be part of Cocaine withdrawal and severe enough that suicidal ideation is common. Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) can act the same way but is less severe. Have your doctor manage any withdrawal plan. ...Read more

Increased BP: The most common thing to happen if you stop this drug suddenly is that your blood pressure will increase. Typically you don't see more nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, vomiting, or headache after stopping the drug, but if you are encountering these symptoms, I would contact your doctor for specific instructions on how to stop the medication in a more controlled and appropriate manner. ...Read more

There is no significant consequence however to prematurely terminating hcv treatment prior to its completion, other than the expectation that viral cure will not be achieved. If you can tough out the side effects and you're showing early treatment response, finish treatment. ...Read more

I have been taking Celexa (citalopram) 10mg for 2 days and will be stopping due to side effects. How long until it is out of my system?
With a half life of about 30 hours, it will take many days for the drug to be completely eliminated from the body.
HOWEVER, your dose was low and the time on the medication quite short. You can expect resolution of side effects well before the drug is completely eliminated. My guess is that you'll experience a noticeable reduction (if not outright departure) of side effects within 24 hours. ...Read more
