Not really.: A few hours is way too little time to see any side effects from a zostavax shot. Some people experience a mild flu-like feeling, but it doesn't develop for several days to a week. Depends: It depends on your age, your medical condtition and your indication for this immunization. It is generally recommended for those 60 and over but is now being given to those 50 and over.
