Side Effects Of Hydrocele Surgery
I am 26y unmarried I have hydrocele problem at right side left side is normal from few past years does surgery is affect my fertility.?
Probably not: Hydrocele is a common problem and ca usually be corrected without incident. However, it must be evaluated by a urologist to confirm the diagnosis and discuss the risks/benefits/ and side effects in your particular case. Get into a urologist so you can get this resolved! :)
My friend is suffrering with hydrocele (female)can u suggest a medicine with out any side effects as she is going to get married after 4 months plz....
Here are some. ..: Are you sure she has hydrocele which solely occur inside men's scrotum? There has been no known oral remedy for its relief but surgery - hydrocelectomy if needed. Yet, it's known nothing like using any medicine is free but always comes with a price, i.e., possible, unpredictable, certain side effects in few if its user. Yet, hydrocele with no significant mental/physical handup may need NO surgery.
I have a mild right sided hydrocele and a moderate left sided varicocele. I don't have insurance. What would surgery cost me roughly? Thanks.
How we can find if spermatic cord are damaged during hydrocele surgery?? My son 5years old had an operation for comunication hydrocele in both sides
Not before puberty: Damage to spermatic cords is unlikely if surgery was performed by surgical expert, especially if s/he is pediatric urologist or surgeon. U could review the operation report to see if note made of cuting vas during surgery. Or check pathology report of hydrocele specimen if it was sent for? Portion of vas. Otherwise you would need to wait till after puberty 2C if sperm present in ejaculated semen.
I feel thick tissue benith the cut made for left side hydrocele surgery 2 month back. Left testicle looks stuck leftward. Minld pain nd discomfort there?
Post-op change: Most likely, unless "thick tissue" is expanding. Mild pain & discomfort not unusual, & should settle down with time. In USA anything related to this kind of surgery is included in global fee charged for original surgery for 3 months after operation. Testicle position may remain changed.

16 month old boy, diagnosed with hydrocele (swelling in groin, left side). No other symptoms. Does he need surgery? Tests? What symptoms look for?
What are the short-term & long-term side effects from surgical excision of the hydrocele? What are the risks&probabilities of the surgical incision?
Good day doctor, please I got operate on hydrocele on the right side and after the surgery, it get swelling again like egg. Please how many days or month will everything return to it to it's normal size?
Uncertain: Postoperative swelling is expected and initially a hydrocele may still look like it is present immediately after surgery. You should see steady improvement and decrease in size over next couple of weeks to a month. Lots of activity or overexertion may slow your recovery. As always contact your surgeon with any questions or concerns.See 2 more doctor answers

SirI am suffering from the effects of hydrocele. Whenever I pinched it Besides of stomach it creates paining. Any exercise or without surgery any cure.
Hydrocoele: Unfortunately this will not make it go away. Surgery is the best option.
No: Sadly not usually. You can drain a hydrocele with a needle in the office but the recurrence rate is very high. In surgery the hydrocele "sac" where the fluid sits is surgically removed so it is very rare for the fluid to return after surgery. Best of luck. See your MD: After a hydrocele repair there is a significant amount of swelling which can appear like the hydrocele is still present. This can happen after your return to normal activity. Please call your surgeon to make sure everything is normal. The post-surgical swelling should resolve over time.See 2 more doctor answers
