Yes!: Baking soda, or bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate) of soda, is an acid neutralizer. As such, when you eat it, it neutralizes the acid in your stomach. Reasoning?: Do you believe that the baking soda mouth rinse will make you less cavity prone by neutralizing acids produced by resident bacteria? You would be better off brushing with a fluoridated bicarbonate dentifrice and flossing correctly.
