I was just prescribed lisinopril/hctz (20/12.5) for my htn. Is Losartan a better drug than this combination with their combined side effects?

I have high blood pressure, and I take Lisinopril/Hctz Tab 20/12.5 I don't have any side effects. Is this a good medication to take,for the next few years. My blood pressure is great.
Started taking lisinopril hctz (hydrochlorothiazide) 25 20 last week. Suffering nightly with severe abdominal pain and cramping with nausea. Side effects? Discontinue use?
Unrelated: It is understandable with the time proximity to link appropriate treatment of hypertension to a possible cause of your new abdominal pain. They are likely unrelated. Cardiac: I recommend that you seek medical attention immediately. No chest pain or symptoms should be viewed lightly even in a young person in your age group. I take 2 lisinopril-hctz 10-12.5 mg daily since abt a week ago. My BP ranges btwn 131-160 (systolic) & 87-103 (diastolic). Is this good?
BP controlled?: Your BP is not controlled when your BP is > 140 systolic and new governmental guide lines say that 150 systolic is not adverse. You BP reading of 160, needs to be be brought down, either by reducing any risk factors you may have for high bp. These include, obesity, excessive salt intake, lack of exercise, and smoking.
