Side Effects Of Drinking Cinnamon Honey Water
Flavor and nutrients: Apart from the flavor you derive, you also get some micronutrients (vitamins/minerals). Honey contains some sugar (fructose and glucose) and aloe vera has some carminative properties which may help soothe the GI tract. Of course, like all medicines, herbals have to be taken in moderation to prevent untoward effects. ...Read more

No best drink: There is nothing except diet and exercise tht really works. The body sees food as protein, carbohydrate, fat, and minerals. It responds to increase total calories with weight gain and with a decreasein calories with weight loss. The is a significant genetic component to the problem also. The is a new oral diet pill that is showing promise. But it is too early to know yet. ...Read more
I add 1 teaspoon of ceylon cinnamon powder to oats cereal everyday.Heard coumarin in cinnamon affects liver. Is my intake of cinnamon safe quantity?
YES-ceylon form safe: There are 2 forms of cinnamon, Ceylon (called true cinnamon),which has little coumarin, and Cassia, which has higher amounts of coumarin which in large quantities can cause liver damage in a subset of those who are sensitive. I can't find any info on whether 1 tsp of Cassia is considered a large quantity, but there's absolutely no reason to worry about Ceylon cinnamon.See http://tinyurl.com/cwmgeeh ...Read more

Is it safe to drink chamomile tea with honey for anxiety tow times per day any side effects of honey ?
Great idea!: Yes, it should be totally safe - with the only possible problem being an unusual allergy to the pollen in the honey if it is made from that pollen (rare - don't worry!) Chamomile is known to be relaxing, calming and great for complexions. It sounds delightful and I hope it works well for you. Experiment with other herbal teas too and try the addition of a bit of milk or a squeeze of fresh lemon. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I've read that 1tblsp honey and 1tblsp cinnamon w/cup of hot water has many health benefits. Is this true?
It depends: I doubt you'll find scientific evidence as to the health benefits. That doesn't mean it is hype. A lack of evidence doesn't exclude the possibility of significant benefit. I find it best to have supplements tailored to the individual. In the U.S. naturopaths are often the best bet. If you have access to a good herbalist & I have a bias toward Chinese Medicine. Watch caffeine: Green tea is proven to have remarkable health benefits because it's rich in antioxidant polyphenols known as catechins, as well as L-theanine which has a calming effect. In general the more the better but it does have some caffeine and too much caffeine can make you jittery, raise blood pressure etc. so consider decaf if drinking lots. Too much of anything: There are harmful effects of too much of anything! Even drinking too much water can kill you. And anything that helps can also cause harm. That said, apple cider vinegar is fairly safe but should always be diluted. It appears to be wise to limit consumption to 2 tbsp per day. Can daily consumption of green tea (I mix it with black tea as well) increase chances of getting kidney stones? The tea is unsweetened.
Probably not: There's a "pop" claim that tea and cola predispose to kidney stones, but little scientific reason. The overriding key to prevention is to keep the urine dilute (always pale, never dark) by drinking plenty of fluids -- the cheapest is tap water, and perhaps tea-drinkers are actually just drinking less of that. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
