Not sure t: If you're talking about the "jitteriness" with albuterol and aminophylline, this should diminish the longer you take them but on a routine basis. Prednisone is another story. What you described is more likely hyperventilation syndrome except for the itching. These drugs are more likely to cause tremor and occasionally muscle cramps and not the symptoms you have described. Uncontrolled asthma may cause hyperventilation which may cause the tingling and

Itching: Generalized itching without a rash can be seen with very dry skin, early allergic reactions, diabetes, prickly heat, or overactive thyroid. Allergy to albuterol would be unusual.
