Side Effects Estriol Vaginal Cream
Usually: Because the cream is applied where the effect is needed, there is less chance of estrogen entering the blood stream and traveling to other organ systems to cause unwanted effects. But any medication can have side effects regardless of whether it is taken internally or externally, orally or parentally so please discuss your concerns with your doctor.
There are three forms of naturally occuring estrogen in the body, estrone, estradiol, and estriol. Estriol is the most commonly used and recommended form of estrogen for menopausal symptoms. Estriol has great benefit to the cells of the vagina but has little effect on the breast or the uterine lining when used conservatively. I always recommend the lowest dose of ...Read more
Iam getting a gelly like stuff from my vagina, iam worried about that. It started when I have applied a vaginal cream to my vagina before 3months?
See your doctor: A jelly like discharge is often semen. Semen turns into a thick gel when ejaculated into the vagina, this keeps it from all falling out. The semen then thins about 1 day later and exits the vagina, it often seems like a jelly. However, without seeing you we can't rule out infection. You should see your doctor for an exam and diagnosis. Good luck.
Using terconazole vaginal cream 0.4% only at night but it makes my vagina itch inside I can't get relief is that normal?
With applicator: There should be a syringe-like applicator with the cream. It is filled and inserted all the way to the top of the vagina (usually at bedtime), then the plunger is depressed to release the cream.
Vaginal applicator: Generally medications placed vaginally (e.g. Anti-fungals, Premarin (conjugated estrogens) cream...) come with a 'vaginal applicator'. The applicator twists on to the tube of medicine and with a slight squeeze the applicator fills up. The applicator is then placed in the vagina after which the plunger on the applicator is pushed- expelling the medication into the vagina. Voila!
I was diagnosed with enterococcus infection of the vagina. I got treated with clindamycin vaginal cream for 7 days but stil have the burning siptoms.
Get re-checked: With the symptoms still present, you may need an antibiotic by mouth possibly, best wishes.
What can I expect while using clindamycin phosphate vaginal cream USP 2%? What are the usual things that occur with the vagina? Frequent discharge?
Not much: You should not expect many side effects since it is a vaginal cream. You will notice some of the cream come out. Sometimes people get yeast infections after.
Dear doctor, Do vaginal and breast tightening pills and creams works if yes, are there any side effects? I have one nigerian friend who bought some vaginal pills from nigeria and it works in 5 minutes and lasts for 4days. She also recommended to me but I
I don't know of any!: I don't know of any pills that can do what you hope. What pills is your friend taking? What are the ingredients?
Can clindamycin vaginal cream and flagyl orally taken, be used together for bv and pid. Should I take diflucan as precaution to yeast side effect?
Anti-fungal: I recommend that all of my female patients when taken any antibiotic be given a prescription for Diflucan. Antibiotics which killed a normal flora both in the mouth and in the vaginal region may predispose patients to developing yeast infections. I recommend that you always asks for generic Diflucan and have this on hand in case it is needed.
If stored properly: If the Clindamycin was stored in a cool, dry place, then it should be usable for up to two years past its' expiration date.
Maybe: Stronger than what? Thee are many anti-fungals on the market. Stronger ones need a doctors prescription. Monistat is available to treat most yeast infections.
Is it a MD Rx?: If you have been diagnosed with vaginal candidal infection then use what was prescribed. If you are using an otc medicine without knowing with certainty then it may not work if it is a different type of vaginal infection.
Which type of: Cream are you referring to? It may be uncomfortable to have vaginal penetration if you have a symptomatic yeast infection.
