Had sinus surgery for infect. 4 months ago, infect. Back on left side. I don't know if it's possible or not, but could it cause hair loss?

Not likely: Recurrent sinus infections would not be the cause of your hair loss. Other conditions including hypothyroidism could be contributing. Easily evaluated by primary doctor. Does rhinorrhea eliminate diagnosis of empty nose syndrome? Sinus surgery 5 wks ago. Trouble breathing in, side with mucus. Can feel air touch hand.

Post nasal surgery: Since you are only 5 weeks after sinus surgery I would think the incidence of empty nose syndrome this soon would be unlikely. Your surgeon should certainly evaluate you and determine the cause of your constant nasal drip (rhinorrhea). If he doesn't answer your concerns get a second opinion from a board certified otolaryngologist. Good luck ...Read more
