Sick From Sex But Clean
My partner got sick shortly after sex/oral, ive only had one past partner before and we were both virgins and clean no std. What is the problem?
Probably unrelated: If your sexual history is correct, then obviously it's not an STD. You don't say what symptoms your partner has or how soon they started after oral sex. Also clarify details of oral sex: you to him, him to you, or both? Vaginal sex also? Most likely his illness has nothing to do with the sexual exposure, just coincidence in timing. ...Read more

If you are concerned about pregnancy, read the message below:
Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about 2-3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.

Unanswerable: Please define what you mean by 'sick'. That word can have a million different definitions. Sex should be pleasurable. I often recommend "our bodies our selves" and "the joy of sex" as guides to a healthy sexual life. It sounds like you may need to be seen by a gynecologist. ...Read more
