Likelihood of blood test showing pregnant tomorrow after month and a half missed period & multiple negative home preg tests?
You tell me!: Did you do the tests correctly? How often/when in your cycle did you have sexual encounters? Have you been using any sort of birth control? Irregular or missed periods/cycles in the past? When did you perform the tests in relationship to missed period? There are many more questions I could ask to help determine that "likelihood". Don't have unprotected sex if you don't know how these affect you ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
It's been a month since miscarriage and i've been bleeding for two weeks straight two weeks after miscarriage. I took an equate pregnancy test and its still showing pregnant. Ultrasound shows its all complete. What's going on?
It takes a few weeks: It takes a few weeks for the beta HCG level to drop after a miscarriage.. If you did not have a D&C and aborted spontaneously, you should be getting blood drawn every week for a quantitative beta HCG level to make sure the beta level goes down to zero. Ultrasound is not perfect at diagnosing retained tissue. If you continue to bleed, you may need a d&c. See your doctor ! ...Read more

Depends on lots: If a woman has had a bigger uterus than expected, it could be due to being farther along, having more than one baby, or having benign growths like fibroids of the uterus. Ultrasound would be useful in these cases. Also the abdominal wall might not be as firm as during the first pregnancy especially if mom is busy with family. ...Read more

I've missed my period for a month and three weeks then i had my period now i'm showing symptoms of being pregnant but i got three negatives from home?
Not pregnant: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. See a doctor to discuss irregular periods. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

3-5 weeks after sex: Common early pregnancy symptoms include some nausea (with or without vomiting), some fatigue (feeling less energetic), a sharper or stronger sense of smell, mild soreness and swelling of the breasts, and maybe some food aversions or cravings. Varies a lot!: Showing varies by parity (how many babies you've already delivered), mom's health, nutrition of mom and baby, body habitus, genetics, athleticism, on and on. Generally at 12-18 weeks gestation. But this is by no means a hard and fast rule. You should have seen your OB before the 6th week to get a history, project an edc, assess high risk factors, start vitamins, an get testing out of the way. ...Read more

Varies: It depends alot on your overall build. Most women will not show until after the first trimester or at least 12-14 weeks and some not until after 20 weeks. Women who are short waisted will tend to show earlier than women with a long waist. A thin woman will show earlier than a heavier set woman. A woman will also usually show later in the first pregnancy than in subsequent pregnancies. ...Read more
Is she or isn't she?: Be careful who you ask! many of us who were not pregnant have been asked if we were :). So it is risky looking at someone's belly and assuming she is pregnant unless she announces it. If asking on behalf of oneself, an expectant woman might notice a fullness in the second trimester. But trying to estimate how far along is best done with ultrasound estimates of the number of weeks of gestation. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
