Leftside elbow pain/numbness wrist/finger tips numbness, shoulder pain left side of left breast both upper part of back, not all time some?

Pinched nerve: Because patients having cardiac problems can have these symptoms, you should have this ruled out. But the most common cause is an irritation of a nerve in the neck by a bone spur or herniation that can cause pain or numbness that runs down the arm into the hand. An MRI can usually show the cause of the problem if it does not resolve. Thank you for the question. ...Read more

I am 22, female. I've been experiencing chest pain above my left breast. Also I have some shoulder pain (could be from working out).Should I be worried?

Probably: Musculo-skletal pain due to muscle spasms from stress or anxiety or inflammation of the connection sites of the ribs to the chest bone. Mitral valve prolapse is a possibility and needs to be checked. I hope this helps. If you want to talk more about this contact me by e-mail or text chat or video chat at www. Healthtap. Not normal: The removal of the breast lesion would not cause hooting pain down the arm. Sharp pain traveling from upper left back right below shoulder blade to under the left breast leaving a lingering pain as it travels. What could it?

Neuralgia: Pain radiating from under the shoulder blade around to under the breast may be due to compression (pinch) of a thoracic nerve as it travels along the under side of the rib. Sleeping in an awkward position is one cause. The pain can be severe. It's usually a temporary problem but can last for several weeks. If OTC NSAIDS don't help gabapentin can be very effective. ...Read more

Go to the doctor: Pain in the left chest that radiates to the arm or shoulder may be a sign of a heart problem. I have pain sometimes in my left breast, an under my breast, an around to my upper back an shoulder. What do you think that is?

Age makes answer: Check your bra tightness and weight gain. The shoulder and back pain all sounds musculoskeletal but depending on age we start asking more specific questions about the heart, shortness of breath, cheap pain, etc. I assume you are in your late 30's so this unlikely. Look for creases in your skin from the bra and make some adjustments there to start. ...Read more

I get random pain under my left breast on my rib cage off and on. I also have a pain upper left back between spine and shoulder blade. Related?

Possibly related: Hi Kkovac4
They could possibly be related. This sounds like what we call "radicular pain" meaning it could be originating from the thoracic nerve roots that come off the spinal cord. We see that sometimes with Shingles especially if you had a skin rash in the same location. I would check with your GP/Family doc.
Best of luck!
