Late Period: Periods can be late for a number of reasons. Stress, infection, hormonal imbalance, thyroid disease and of course pregnancy. Sometimes it just occurs for no apparent reason. Since few days I have chest pain sometimes on the left side, at times middle, neck pain shoulder pain all symptoms are on off & missed period.

Refer to answer: Causes are inflammatory. Could due to diabetes, auto immune disorder, +/_ thyroid problems (effects the periods too)
stay away from all cereals, fast foods juices and sodas, avoid all soy and corn products.
