Absolutely: Cervical spondylosis is a much more common cause of radiculopathy and nerve pain than thoracic outlet syndrome, a cervical rib, a brachial plexopathy or shoulder impingement syndrome, particularly with confirmed cervical spondylosis. Check with your doc: If this is newly developing, there sometimes may be fluid collection around the liver after the surgery. There are different things that can lead to this, so difficult to tell you simply hear. But the sensory nerves for that part of the body refer pain to the right shoulder - so the right shoulder pain has to do with the area around the liver. Give it time: If the surgery was very recent, could be from your position on the operating table. If you are already back to playing softball, could just be getting used to playing again after a perios of non-use. Give it some time, it should get better on its own. Be sure to warm up before play and practice. If it persists, ask the doctor about it that the did nerve surgery. Hope this helps! ...Read more
