Shoulder Blade Pain Left Arm Tingling
Left shoulder blade pain also between that and the spine and left arm pain and tingling ring and pinky finger?
Hurting under left shoulder blade tingling in center of back pain in top left ribcage that goes under my left arm.
Rib dysfunction: This kind of pain, along with the tingling (neuro type symptom) is commonly seen in my practice. Ribs should rise & fall w/ inhaling/exhaling, but when one or more locks & stops moving properly, pain-sharp or severe aching-results, usually in upper back. Vertebrae may also be involved. Osteopathic hands-on exam recommended. Gentle manipulation may free the rib, & stop the symptoms.See 1 more doctor answer
Hey doctor. I have pain since 3 days in my left shoulder blade also in my left arm with tingling. I don't have any past medical history..
I have a tingling in my left side of my face and head, and now in my left shoulder blade and sometimes my neck and sometimes my left arm.
Need more info: This sounds like you have a neurological problem. Somewhere nerves in your cervical spine are being impinged upon and you need to see your primary care physician and/or an osteopathic physician.
Pain radiating to left arm and chest originating from near left shoulder blade. Tingling in left arm till fingers also present depending upon position?
Two considerations: You might possess pinching of nerve in neck, cervical radiculopathy, and if arm is raised, you might feel less symptoms. Or, you could have thoracic outlet syndrome, and if arm is elevated, you will have more intense symptoms. One additional caveat, make sure that your pain is not of cardiac origin. Have your doctor assess all of this.
I wake up middle of night with left arm and shoulder blade pain then I have a left chest more in the middle start hurt. Is that something dangerous?
See a doctor: What you describe could be cardiac pain (angina) or could be from other causes. If cardiac, you are describing a condition that may be unstable angina and that can be dangerous. You should see someone soon and possibly depending on your risk factors have a and evaluation and stress test. Do not wait..See 1 more doctor answer
Dull constant ache in left shoulder blade pain radiating down left arm BP is 119/78 pulse 90 pain has been there all day I suffer severe anxiety also?
Therapy?: In addition to tending to physical symptoms, have you yet tried any form of psychotherapy? Typically, the optimal combination of things to treat emotional issues such as anxiety or depression is medication (which, on your best day, is supposed to take the edge off symptoms) but the real gruntwork takes place in psychotherapist's consulting room.See 1 more doctor answer
I have left shoulder blade pain, pain under left breast and pain that goes from the left side of my neck down my left arm.
Pinched nerve: Because patients having cardiac problems can have these symptoms, you should have this ruled out. But the most common cause is an irritation of a nerve in the neck by a bone spur or herniation that can cause pain or numbness that runs down the arm into the hand. An MRI can usually show the cause of the problem if it does not resolve. Thank you for the question.See 2 more doctor answers
Severe onset of left shoulder blade pain that radiates down left arm & hand. Left arm also tingles. Whole left arm is weak. Neck is fine though.
Radiculopathy: Pain that radiates down the arm can reflect a cervical radiculopathy (shooting pains due to a pinched nerve in the cervical spine). Many patients will have no associated neck pain. These conditions typically resolve with time and conservative treatment. It would be reasonable to watch it for a week or two, and use NSAIDs if needed, before seeing a physician.
I have been having a radiating pain in my left arm and jaw and occassional neck pain and back/left shoulder blade pain, for the last 3-4 months. I got an EKG done in june and it was ok. I have been scared for months. What should I do?
Further Cardiac W/U: You should get further cardiac work-up to still rule out cardiac issues.See 3 more doctor answers
Could a nerve problem be causing such symptoms? Such as left shoulder pain when breathing deeply and lying down, left arm tingling at all times.
Yes: As tingling in arm is constant, and worsens with change of position, my best guess would be nerve compression within the shoulder. Breathing deeply is like the positional change, it puts further pressure of the nerve as the lungs fill with air and compress anatomy upwards into the nerve compression site. Last night sudden numbing sensation in left arm, fast heart rate, heavy arm, & tingling with movement. Today cold feelin in wrist, forearm, & shoulder?
For years I've had right shoulder blade pain. It is now radiating down my arm and causing tingling in my fingers. What could this be? How is it treated?
Pinched nerve: A pinched nerve can cause neck pain headaches, and pain or numbness running into the arm. There are other potential causes, however, and so it would be good to just get a regular check up to make sure it is nothing else. An MRI can confirm the diagnosis. Therapy, chiropractic, and interventional pain management are the non operative treatments for it if it doesn't get better. Thank you.See 2 more doctor answers
Xray of shoulder shows nothing abnormal but I have burning in upper back between shoulder blades and random right arm tingling and numbness...whats up?
Trigger point?: Pain between the shoulder blades and arm tingling is often a pinched nerve, a trigger point or a muscle strain. Rarely something serious like heart or aorta problems can do this. A careful history and physical exam can usually clarify the issue. While rare, sometimes you need a CT or MRI to rule out more serious problems.
Your neck: Thank you for the question. There are many potential causes, but among the most common is the irritation of a nerve in the neck. The term "cervical radiculopathy" refers to the pain that can run don the arm into the neck from a nerve irritation in the neck. Uusally a phyxical exam and appropraite imaging studies can diagnose the problem.
I have mid trap pain and tingling down my left arm from my shoulder to elbow when I train back or squat. Who could I see for this? Thanks
Sports Med: Best to see sports med specialist for initial eval. Also pay attention to what specific exercises you are doing that seem to be most problematic. That would be helpful. Best of luck with this. Dr R

See orthopod: Could be from the shoulder or referred. Common referred sources include: abdomen, heart and neck. Shoulder sources include: arthritis, labral tears, instability, tendinitis, rotator cuff tears, bursitis, painful bony spurs etc. Shoulder blade pain can be from the neck or bursitis around the blade. A herniated disk in the neck could be causing your symptoms. See an orthopedist.See 1 more doctor answer
