Post op swelling: This may be part of normal post op recovery after hernia surgery, of course if its on the same side as the surgery. If your surgeon manipulated the cord and placed mesh some discomfort may be ok at 6 weeks. However if you have significant swelling, worsening pain or persistent bruising you should go to surgeon to be examined. ...Read more
