Contact lenses: A tough call. I broke five pair of glasses when I was 6 years old and now, many decades later I am still doing OK with my glasses. You can wear contact lenses for a long time each day but not go to sleep with the lenses. Yes, I am biased, but wearing contacts only a few hours a day is not good enough.
