Should not matter: It should not matter whether a person is using Nasacort or not. Such a person should get the annual flu shot, if there is no other reason why he should not get the shot. Nasacort usage does not change one's decision about a flu shot. Read more

Yes: Flu shot has killed virus and will not do any harm unless you are allergic to eggs. Please note that flu shot is not 100% effective even in normal people and your response may be even less, still having said all that, it is important the you take the flu shot. If you have not taken pneumonia vaccination, and shingles vaccine, you should take those also.

Post-mastectomy: If the mastectomy also took lymph nodes out of the armpit, the arm will always have a tendency to swell. You should avoid shots, blood drawing, blood pressure on that arm to try to not have swelling. If your arm is swollen, you can try elevating it over your head. Sleep with it up on a pillow. If swelling continues, your doctor can prescribe a fitted sleeve to help keep swelling under control. Read more
