There can be minor differences in the ingredients that babies gut may deal with differently.This can result in changes in digestive patterns, cramping,loose stools,constipation etc.while switching back and forth. Pump/feed often: Breastmilk supply does its best to keep up with demand so if you think your milk production is falling a little short increase the demand. A couple times a day pump after your baby nurses. Stimulating your breasts when they're empty tells your body "the baby finished all the milk and is still hungry - i better make more". Breastfeeding/fastin: I am Jewish not Muslim. In Judiasm respect for preserving life is considered so high that you are allowed to break almost any commandment in order to preserve a life.
