I would not recommen: A tattoo over a ganglion. Ganglions come from the joint or tendon sheath below and contamination or infection can track back to the joint or tendon causing more problems. ...Read more

Glass in foot: If you know it's a very small piece & not deeply imbedded, you can remove it; cleanse the wound; dress it (antibiotic ointment + sterile covering). If there's any doubt as to size, go to er where they may take radiograph to determine size & depth; er is also equipped to deal with significant bleed if glass is preventing artery from flowing freely.
