Pumped milk, right?: Babies drink breast milk, either pumped or directly from the breast. Formula (not cow milk) is an option if there is not enough breast milk. In nature, nobody knows how much a baby drinks, because she drinks from the breast. That being said, if a normal healthy 2 month-old wakes every hour and only drinks 1.5 oz, she can be gradually increased to 3 oz per feeding and will likely sleep better. ...Read more

I would: I don't have science behind this, but i don't know if mixing breast milk and formula will break down the good proteins in either liquid. I'm probably being overly cautious with this recommendation. So, if it was my baby, i wouldn't mix. Hope that helps! ...Read more

Keep breast feeding : Medical studies show the huge benefit of breast feeding. Be patient as it takes a few days for full engorgement and milk let down. Unless babies are premature they rarely need formula because of "dehydration." make sure you stay hydrated with water and are eating healthy. ...Read more
