Should I Be Worried If I Feel My Baby Move Less Than 10 Times A Day
I am 33 weeks. I have not felt the baby move for about 10 hours. I am already doing a NST and BPP every week to monitor him. Should I be worried?
Probably not, but...: you should call your doctor and let them know you aren't feeling the baby move. They will have you come in for some monitoring to make sure everything is OK. Good luck! ...Read more
I am 24 weeks pregnant and my baby has not moved at all today. He usually kicks more than three times a day. Is it normal to not feel them everyday?
Movement in pregnanc: Yes, at 24 weeks you should feel your baby move every day. A good plan: drink lots of fluid, and lie down quietly for about 2 hours. If you still feel no movement, it may be wise to check with your OB doctor. Sometimes at 24 weeks the movements may be small enough you miss feeling it if you are busy doing something else. ...Read more
I'm 30 weeks pregnant but i feel less baby movement like one kick in 3 hours or so is my baby ok or I should see my ob dr please help last week feel more move?
Being Pregnant: Your baby is fine. I often remind patients that it is always valuable to read your prenatal guide book when you get these panicky feelings or thoughts during pregnancy. Your prenatal guide book will teach you about the baby's cycles of sleep and when the lack of movement is a worry. ...Read more
I have been masturbating last 5 years once every day and now i feel like my one testicle is smaller than other is it ok or should I consult a doctor?
Not related: One smaller testicle has likely been present since after you went through puberty. Left testicle can be smaller due to a varicocele (feels like a "beg of worms" ) or an incompletely descended testis up at neck of scrotum can be smaller ; worth consulting a urologist. However many men have one testicle smaller than other for no reason or if they had groin surgery or mumps. Likely not a problem. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I am 12 weeks pregnant and swear I felt my baby kick or move three times this morning, is it possible?
No: The baby fetus can move, but nobody can feel it move until it grows bigger. Of course, you felt something, but it wasn't the baby fetus' movements. You may start feeling tiny flutters when the baby fetus grows 2 times longer and the baby fetus weighs 6 times more... which will be in another month. ...Read more
I have been sleeping for about only 5 hours each day and when I wake up I feel like if a needle is poking at my heart. Should I be worried?
Chest pain: Anytime you have chest pain it should be evaluated by a doctor. There is a possibility of serious cardiac disease which needs to be ruled out. You may also have an arrythmia. You can do a virtual consultation with my self or another healthtap doctor through our Prime services. Otherwise I recommend that you see your pcp as soon as possible. ...Read more

However, if its just small amounts of stool each time it may just be that you aren't completely evacuating your stools each time you try to pass. Should i be worried about a deep filling still hurting at cold/hot temperatures or after i chew gum? It's been a month. I floss daily to help it heal.
Yes: There could be a number of reasons for your tooth still hurting. Since you stated that the filling was deep, the pulp could be irreversibly inflamed. If that is the case, it would require rot canal therapy. However, there could be other reasons, such as the occlusion being high. I would suggest going back to your dentist and have him/her evaluated the situation. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers
Stop smoking: If you are concerned about low birth weight in your child, you MUST make every effort to discontinue your smoking. However, 10 oz. at 20 weeks is within the normal range for fetal development. Smoking reduces blood flow to the placenta, and does far more potential damage than just low birth weight, which is serious enough in its own right. Talk to your OB provider about smoking cessation help. ...Read more

I am a month pregnant and sometimes after intercourse i will get cramping that's pretty painful but only lasts about 5 min. Should i be concerned?
No: At only 4 weeks of pregnancy there's likely no harm that having intercourse can cause. Cramping, especially if you've had an orgasm, can be normal as well. I would definitely mention this to your ob/gyn at your next appointment, but for not i wouldn't worry. So long as not having any bleeding, you should be fine, but definitely speak with physician about it. ...Read more
