Need more info: Why are your concerned about cirrhosis? Cirrhosis from biliary obstruction may cause itching but you would be jaundiced. It depends : Whether this is normal or a problem depends on several things including how long ago she had the surgery, whether it was laparoscopic or open, and how heavy she is. This could just be a seroma (a collection of tissue fluid) draining or it can be a sign that the incision is breaking down and going to come open.
