GERD? : Gastroesophageal reflux or GERD (is that what you mean by lpr reflux?) can cause aspiration and bronchospasm. The refluxing acid can trickle down the airways (aspiration) & cause them to spasm. You can then get shortness of breath, wheezing & cough. You need a complete physical exam including serology and hormone levels as well as pregnancy test and mental health eval for anxiety and depression.
