Yes: If by "TVG" you mean a "tricuspid valve gradient" of 11, this is abnormal (especially if it's the mean gradient) and indicates tricuspid stenosis which is often an accompaniment of rheumatic mitral stenosis. Either or both can cause pulmonary hypertension, Right Ventricular Hypertrophy, RV failure with swollen ankles and S.O.B. - see a cardiologist!! (or see another one). ...Read more

See a doctor ASAP: There are some illnesses that require immediate attention, and tightness in the throat and shortness of breath are both on the list, because if you can't breathe or your airway is blocked it is lethal. Since you have had this for 2 wks, your airway is obviously still ok, but that can change quickly. Go to an urgent care or ER if you can't get in to your regular doctor right away. ...Read more
