Not really: You could get a fungal infection there, but a bacterial cause from a nasal vestibulitis is more common. Is it in the nostrils too? It could also be an allergic reaction to a topical medication, if you are using one. If it is in the nostrils too, topical Mupirocin or bactroban 2% ointment 2-3 times per day in the nostrils will help. I would see an ENT doctor or derm anyway. ...Read more
