I have severe hip pain and can hardy move my left leg. I have constant shooting pain from hip down. I also have back pain What should I do?
Disc disease/injury: Low back pain radiating down the leg is called sciatica. Given the severity of your complaint, you need to be evaluated by a local doctor, get an xray, and go to physical therapy and take ibuprofen or Naproxen for a month. if not improved, then get an MRI. Bad pain in hip When moving or exercising sends shooting pain down leg esp bad when running had to stop exercising?
I have sharp shooting pain from my hip down through the leg. Sometimes above my knee through the leg feels like it's going through my bone. Could it be sciatica? I've had some tingling too and have been sitting a lot.
Had thr 8/2010 my foot slipped off edge of sidewalk and ever since I have sharp shooting pain in hip and some pain to the groin?
Took diflucan (fluconazole) 150 7 days ago. Mild cramping pain in lower abd and shooting pain in hip area for 3 to 4 days now. Side effect?
Not from fluconazole: Fluconazole (Diflucan®) isn't a likely cause of these symptoms. I don't know what to make of hip pain. Low abdominal pain raises concern you might not have had a yeast infection. If the main symptom was discharge (with or without odor) without itching/irritation, maybe you had gonorrhea or chlamydia and now have a tubal infection (PID). Common after inject: Some pain is expected after cortisone injections, but most are mild. Some may have worse pain shortly after injection is done for couple of days..In rare case, pain can be severe. Left hip pain at night and after sitting down after work. Pain in hip and shoots down leg at times. Worse at night in bed. No injury as far as I know.
Left hip pain: May be scaitica. Sitting is stress on spine. Consider ergonomic chair with lumbar support. At work change position ( i.e. get up for a moment every 45 minutes to an hour) to shake out, Consider a trial of NSAIDS ( motrin/alelve ) and muscle relaxant( if not allergic).
