Positional head pain: The causes of headaches are enormous in number. Positional changes that provoke headache help differentiate but without a thorough neuro exam are difficult to diagnose. Consider cervical spine disorder, peripheral cranial nerve / occipital nerve cause, or more seriously a spinal fluid pressure cause. Leg Pain: Exercise may be the answer to stopping your leg pain depending of the cause. Unfortunately "shooting pain down the back of the leg" does not give the diagnosis just the area of pain. Can be anything: Depends where it's radiating down in your back? To your shoulders? Low back? Upon inspiration only? When you sit or walk too? That will help pinpoint location. Sometimes, if U sleep funny, you can create a muscle spasm or rib strain. So when you breathe in, U feel the discomfort more. Could Be Neck Issues: If preliminary evaluation by your primary doctor doesn't help, consider evaluation of your neck to make sure nothing is awry there. Many times the facet joints in the neck or even herniated disks could be a cause of this issue in the back of head.
