Don't know if your: Doc has you on Acyclovir or similar. Also, zostrix vaccine may decrease future outbreaks. Prednisone can be helpful & is safe if used for short period of time -can help limit long term neuralgia. The only supplement i know of is lysine 500-1000mg 3x/ day during outbreak but it can interact w some antibiotics so check w doc. Improve, not remove.: Scars cannot be removed but there is a large variety of techniques to improve their appearance, both surgical and non-surgical.
