Fell down stairs: Tingling is usually a sign of nerve irritation , happens often with injuries, especially when the foot swells up and there is pressure on the adjacent nerves or damage from the injury. Absolutely , see a podiatrist or an orthopedist asap , get examined for any potential fracture, tear of the tendon/ligament , the sooner you decrease swelling and immobilize your foot, the faster you will heal. ...Read more

ER is not necessary: This sounds like radiculopathy vs. a peripheral neuropathy. Seeing a Neurologist or PMR MD can distinguish using a EMG test. Treatment would include a possible neuropathic pain medication and/or therapy as well as evaluation via MRI for any changes in your spine. While a clot is a remote consideration, this can be evaluated by your primary care MD via Duplex US or the specialists noted. ...Read more

Shin: The biggest concern would be that the long flight resulted in a blood clot in your leg. Most people get swelling and pain with that but your description could be that. Go see a doctor to get evaluated. ...Read more
