Why do you get cramps in the shin and the foot turns inward? It can sit in from 1 minute up to 10 minutes. It only happens when i'm sitting still.

With leg pains and leg swelling, the possibility of blood clots is there, especially if she had a long drive or a plane ride. Staying hydrated, with normal body electrolytes is important also. DVT/ Muscle Cramps: It could be. Is your leg red, hot and swollen? If that is the case, you may have DVT (deep vain thrombosis) and you need to go the ER as soon as possible.
