If you spread that same amount calorie over 3 meals then you will lose weight because that keeps your metabolism up. 2 sessions: 2 sessions spread apart by a couple of hours could raise your metabolism longer than one long session. The idea is- after each half hour session- your metabolism will be raised lets say for 1/2 a hour ( a total of one hour of increased burning calories).
