Shedding Uterine Lining During Pregnancy
I think I had a miscarriage but I want to know the difference between a gestation sac after 3 week pregnancy or a uterus lining during a period.
See your dr: If its only been a little bit of time since you had bleeding that was either a miscarriage or a period, the doctor can check a test to see if you are still making pregnancy hormones (which you may be if it was a miscarriage). If you don't want to be pregnant, you should talk with your dr about birth control choices. If you do want to be pregnant, plan ahead, start prenatal vitamins, and be health.
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
My endometrium lining is at 6mm on day 19 after period. What are my chances of a pregnancy? Uterus 74mm x 40mm, right ovary; 35mm left: 23mm
Menstrual cycle: If you have a 28 day cycle, that lining in kinda thin. This however is not the important information. You need to know if you are ovulating. That could be determined by an appropriately timed Progesterone level.
Ultrasound showed I have enlarged uterus with 12 mm lining. I have no fibroids. Period is due soon. Could enlarged uterus mean early pregnancy symptom?
On Minastrin Fe at the end of my cycle. Tested negative for pregnancy. I'm shedding what looks like my uterine lining but there's no blood. Is it normal?
OCPs: The character of your flow will change due to the low levels of estrogen in the pills. Typically menses are lighter, are shorter and darker in color. As long as you do not miss any pills, pregnancy should not be an issue. Continue not to miss any pills. Many people end up having no period at all on Minastrin.
This causes the corpus luteum to decline. How is it possible for the corpus luteum to degenerate at this point, yet the uterine lining remains intact during the rest of the pregnancy?
The Placenta!: The corpus luteum supports the lining of the uterus during the first 8-10 weeks of pregnancy by producing large quantities of Progesterone. As the placenta enlarges, it takes over the production of Progesterone so that the corpus luteum is no longer needed and can go away. Best wishes!
Does getting your period four days after taking ec mean that it worked or is there still a chance of pregnancy even while the uterus wall is shedding?
I've taken 2 hpt's both have come back negative. I'm exhibiting signs of pregnancy. I had bleeding. No shedding of the uterus. Is it possible I'm preg?
Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

Before pregnancy: The endometrial lining of your uterus actually thickens in the second half of your menstrual cycle (the secretory phase) after ovulation, in preparation for pregnancy, as a result of an increase in the hormone progesterone. If you do not get pregnant, your Progesterone level drops, and your uterine lining sheds and is expelled during menses (your period). The cycle then starts over.
