Hard to say: In my experience, women who stay in shape do better during labor and delivery, but many couch potatoes also do just fine and there are a lot of factors at work here. Might be--call, go: Pain in the uterus at any point in pregnancy should be reported. The lowest part of the uterus, cervix extends into vagina, and sometimes "vaginal" pain can be dilating or contracting, even early in pregnancy. Pregnancy: Yes, pregnancy can be uncomfortable at times, especially as you get further along. I am guessing that you have been seeing your OB regularly and all is well? Get their "okay" to try a prenatal yoga class, or get a prenatal massage to help with the low back pain. ...Read more
