I would see a back: Specialist, such as spine orthopedic or neurosurgeon, for sciatica and spinal stenosis in the lumbar spine. You will need MRI and/or CT myelograms. Knee pain: This sounds like chondromalaciae patella. (softening of cartilage behind kneecap). A month of physical therapy with ultrasound and therapeutic exercises can diminish pain and restore pain-free motion. Could be from brusie, sprain if exercising or bakers cyst but would follow up today with doctor/urgent care make sure you do not have a clot in your calf (especially if you smoke or are on BCP) as that is serious. Probably: Your knee complaints started after trauma. It would be advisable to see an MD to rule out a fracture if there is history of osteoporosis. Most likely you could have potentially rattled up any preexisting arthritis that u had in the knee. If your range of motion is limited (Especially knee flexion) then this could be consistent with knee arthritis. NSAID, ICE and therapy should be considered. ...Read more

Needs to be checked: Pain on kneeling may be coming from knee cap (Patella) if it is in the front. If the pain is in the back of the knee then it is coming from meniscus. It may be a injury to meniscus
