Left knee: Please start with a someone who will take you to the Emergency facility where they will carefully examine your knee. Lab test and/or xrays will be done.

Knee pain: This sounds like chondromalaciae patella. (softening of cartilage behind kneecap). A month of physical therapy with ultrasound and therapeutic exercises can diminish pain and restore pain-free motion.
