Unsure: Could be several things. If it is severe or persists more than several hours then you should be evaluated. Sorry but the list of possible causes is long. With any type of abdominal/pelvic pain, best to be seen. If any fevers, vomiting, diarrhea, sudden worsening of pain, please be seen right away. Sorry this was not more helpful. Best of luck with this. Dr R ...Read more

Good day. I have an excruciating pain in my abdomen, front left side, +- halfway between my hip bone and my pubic bone. Sweat, vomit, down +- 4 hours?
Excruciating?: If one has very uncomfortable tummy pain, and is normally in good health, plus is not pregnant, the possibilities include: appendicitis (usually r lower quadrant), diverticulitis, kidney stone (very painful), constipation (crampy), stomach flu, etc... Most people with "moderate pain" need a doctor's evaluation. "Excruciating pain" often means something bad, thus consider calling for the ambulance. ...Read more

Fell down steps caused pubis shearing also in pain since 5/2012 thighs, low back, hips & pubic bone omt helped a lot but still achey will I heal 100%?
Possibly not: Mechanical falls onto low back & buttocks can cause pelvic sacroiliac joint (sij) ligament tears, which can be permanent. Ligaments have relatively low blood flow & heal poorly. A trial of two or more months of rest in order. Medical literature reports between 10-30% persons with chronic (over 2-3 months) of low back pain have pain generation from injured sij. See an osteopath; are ways to help. ...Read more

Is lg intestine supose 2 b below hip bone down 2 sup pubic area, havin lot of pain gurglin so its got 2B intest. On rt side goes 2left, or hav they drope?
Unclear: The large intestine starts in the right lower quadrant, goes up under the ribs on the right, travels across the abdomen to a place under the ribs in the left (higher that the right), then travels to the left lower quadrant, then into the pelvis. Looks almost like an upside down 'U'. Abdominal pain is best diagnosed with a complete evaluation. Call your primary care provider. ...Read more

Is it a pinched nerve have pain n the front inner & side of thigh. Have pain n lower back, hips, pubic bone, groin area. Can decompression help this?
Depends: This depends on what your imaging reveals. Lumbar stenosis can cause back pain and pain into thighs which are worse with ambulation. Can pubic bone instability cause slight swelling of the pubic mound and groin areas and pain in hip when walking long distances? And sciatica pain?
Shouldn't: While the pelvis is all interconnected, the pubic bone is in the front, and shouldn't cause swelling. It is curious why you think this joint is unstable. You may want to ask you primary care if an imaging study would be appropriate. Sciatica is typically caused by disc disease of the spine. Hope this helps! ...Read more

Horse fall 6 mo ago. Hip pain and numb from pubic bone to tail bone. Normal MRI and xray. Now area is smaller but still numb and painful. Idk what to do.
Most likely soft ti-: Ssue contusional injuries from the fall with superficial neuritis (of the nerves in and just below the skin). These get better slowly and sometimes can take up to 2 years to completely resolve. So your getting better slowly is a good sign. Hang in there, it should improve. Rarely there may be some residual numbness but the majority would subside. ...Read more
Have swollen lymph nodes around pubic bone. Vaginal discomfort, feels swollen. Little odorless discharge, pelvis feels tender. Is it yeast infectio?
Atypical for yeast: These are not typical symptoms for yeast, which doesn't cause enlarged lymph nodes or pevlic tenderness -- but both may depend on exactly where the discomfort is located. Other infections are more likely; or a non-infectious cause. Herpes or another STD might be possible, but of course only if you are at risk (new or unsafe partner, etc). Best to not speculate and see a doctor ASAP. Good luck. ...Read more
