Heart issue?: Even with your recent normal heart workup and young age anything is possible. I would recommend a discussion with your PCP or to see a cardiologist if this continues to worry you. However, the first thing that jumps to my mind is a possible 'pinched nerve' in your neck. Try to rest, relax, ice, and take some anti-inflammatories. Probable muscle pull: There are a series of muscles behind the ear involved in the movement of the head. Pulling one of these muscles could easily cause the pain you describe. If that is the case there are some conservative measures you could do to make it better. There are also some pinched nerves that can cause pain in that area. Likely migraines: Cluster headaches are headaches on one side of the head with eye tearing and/or nose running on that same side of the head that make you agitated and pace that last 15-180 minutes untreated.
