Is it okay to have a sharp pain in the wrist after a fracture and difficulties rotating my hand up and down?

Of course not!: If your fracture has healed, pain and reduced range of motion means you have adhesions or scar tissue in there. I like referring people to a good hands-on osteopathic physician who can treat this using omt (osteopathic manipulative therapy). Also anyone using frequency specific microcurrent (find online) may be very helpful. Make sure you eat your veggies and fruits to help the healing process. ...Read more

I can't sleep properly had wrist fracture it is in plaster underneath now 10 days already must i keep the hand in sling or can I let it hang please help d?

Try to avoid sling: Prolonged use of a sling can lead to stiff shoulders. After a wrist injury and if you had surgery it is best to keep it elevated. 10 days after injury or surgery you can be placed in a splint that is usually more comfortable and lighter than a plaster cast/splint. If you did not have surgery and need immobilization fiberglass casts are much lighter. ...Read more
