Spoken to doctor?: With your history of frequent UTI's I would think that contacting your physician for an appointment and testing as appropriate would be your best bet all the way out there in DOWN UNDER. Have slight discomfort/ sometime pain on lower stomach by hip bones both sides but mainly on left side?
Bilateral hip pain: Could be diverticulitis, I have seen it with vaginitis ( mycoplasma/ureoplasma), ovarian or UTI. Get urinanalysis, consider sonogram to check ovaries, if diverticulitis may need antibiotics( CT is used for diagnosis but so can physical exam) and sometimes i give a course of Zithromax( or doxycycline) and flagyl for vaginitis and it helps.
