Kidney Stone: Most common cause for flank pain (below your shoulder blade) with pain into groin area would be a kidney stone. There may be some blood in your urine that you can see or only detected on microscopic evaluation. Double up on fluids for a few days, if the pain persists get to your primary care physician or obg for evaluation. Sometimes a special x-ray called an ivp or a ct is necessary to confirm.

Why I sometime feel sharp pain in my vagina?

Why I sometime feel sharp pain in my vagina?

See your doctor: That's a difficult to answer without more info e.g. is the pain related to pregnancy, or sex, or does it just happen? There are many organs located close to the vagina e.g. your uterus, ovaries, bladder and rectum, as well as muscles: all could cause pain. Persistent or recurrent pain is a concern. Suggest see your doctor for evaluation.

Why do I have sharp pains in my vagina. Doesn't happen all the time. It feels just like I would have a sharp pain anywhere else on my body.

More information pls: When does the pain occur? During or after intercourse? How long does it last? Internal or external? Sometimes a nerve can become irritated and cause short, sharp pains. This can occur in any area of the body. It usually resolves on its own after some time. If it persists, you should see your physician. Kind regards, pamela svendsen, md.

Sometimes I get a sharp pain in my vagina, could this be because of tampons or would the cause be something else?

Depends: If the pain is only when you are wearing tampons then, yes, it could be causing it (usually because it is in the wrong position). If it happens when you are not using one, then, no. Get checked and find out why, for sure.

What could be going on I have a sharp pain from my navel that shoots down to my vagina?

Urachal cyst?: Pain from the belly button/navel down to the bladder or pubic area could be from an abnormal urachus that has a cyst or sinus present and is irritated. Urinary complaints and drainage from the umbilicus (belly button) are other associated symptoms. See a doctor, surgeon, or gyn for further evaluation.

I have a really sharp pain like in the inside of the vagina. I have intercourse yesterday. I barely had this feeling today. What could this mean?

Vaginal pain: Intercourse is one of the most common causes of vaginal pain. Something may have become irritated/inflamed in your vaginal area from intercourse. If the pain persists, then see a gyn dr. For an examination to assure you get diagnosed properly, so any necessary treatment would occur, best wishes.

A long time ago I felt a sharp pain in my vagina, I noticed it was open and I never had sex! Can I get it sewn shut by any gyno, I'm freaking out help!

Not closed: The vagina is not closed. The hymeneal ring contricts the opening, but there is still an opening. You are probably normal, so you need not worry. Op if you are still concerned, you can be seen by a gynecologist, who van probably reassure you that you are normal.

Sharp pain in bellybutton extending to vagina. Not able to stand straight without it hurting. Almost like there's a string pulling attached to both?

Many possibilities: If this is persistent and not transient, you need to have it evaluated. It could be one of several things including a uterine infection, problems with your bowels, an ovarian cyst, etc. You would need some tests to figure it out. Best wishes!
