Pushin too hard...: It sounds like you have irritated a small nerve that runs just under the foot, supplying the little toe. When you apply pressure to the irritated nerve, it responds with pain. The fat pad below may have be irritated also. The area needs to calm down. Avoid excessive pressure to the area and try some Motrin type anti-inflammatory medications.
