Need evaluation: Pain coming from the hip can give you knee pain, so a problem in the hip joint is a possibility — but the diagnosis and treatment do require an evaluation to know for sure. Mild discomfort and arthritis or overuse pains are often managed with Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen (advil/motrin or tylenol), but your doctor can tell you what is best for you. ...Read more

Hi I have Si joint pain or piriformis, sharp pain in back, stabbing pain in thigh and calf it doesn't travel. Now stabbing pain in front ankle, related?

Sciatica?: In my experience, "SI joint" and "Piriformis" syndromes are commonly over-diagnosed by mistake.
